Invisible - Polyester yarn

SULKY InvisibleThis transparent monofilament thread made of 100% polyester, supplied in a handy 400 m snap spool, was developed to meet the highest demands for invisibility, stability, and versatility. Its fine texture makes it virtually invisible on fabrics while remaining remarkably tear-resistant.

It is ideal for:

• invisible hems
• Stitching-in-the-Ditch when quilting
• embroidering beads, sequins, cords or lace
• decorative surface embroidery with a floating effect

The thread can be easily processed with all standard sewing, embroidery, and overlock machines. For optimal results, a needle size of NM 75–90 (Universal, Top Stitch, or Embroidery) is recommended. Can be used as a bobbin thread – please work slowly when winding to avoid stretching and breakage.

How to use SULKY Invisible:

Thread the thread into your sewing or embroidery machine as usual. For visible results with an invisible effect, use it for hems, as a fancy thread, or for quilting in the seam. When using it as a bobbin thread, be sure to wind it slowly and use a sturdy bobbin if possible. For beadwork, thread the thread directly through the beads and stitch it on with a fine needle.
