overview

The softer and more voluminous a fabric, the more difficult it is to achieve a clean stitch. Stitches can easily "disappear" in the pile, and details can appear blurred or washed out. This is where SULKY SOLVY comes in: The thin, transparent film is applied to the fabric during embroidery. It keeps the surface smooth and compact – for perfectly visible stitches, fine lines, and clear shapes.

After embroidery, the film is simply washed out with water – leaving no residue. It can also be used as a base, for example, for transparent fabrics, towels, or scarves where both sides should remain visible.


Versatile: As an embroidery overlay, sewing aid, embroidery template, for 3D work, trapunto, appliqués, or buttonholes. Especially suitable for knitwear, jersey, plush, terry cloth, organza, or tulle.

Application

When embroidering, place the SULKY SOLVY film directlyon the fabric– especially with deep-pile or stretchy materials. Embroider your motif as usual. After the embroidery process, simply dissolve the foil in water. For particularly clean results: Use cold water and soak briefly if necessary. For visible fabric reverses, SULKY SOLVY can alsounderneathbecome.

After embroidery, the foil is roughly torn off and then wiped or washed off with cold water – without leaving any residue.
