Install CREATIVATE from the current manufacturer page, sign in with your account and redeem your dealer or boxed code in the right place. The guide covers Windows and Mac.
The safest way to install CREATIVATE is through the manufacturer’s current software page. Sign in with your CREATIVATE or former mySewnet account and redeem a dealer or boxed code on the official activation page.
1. Check the requirements
For CREATIVATE Embroidery, the manufacturer currently lists Windows 10 or macOS Catalina 10.15, 4 GB RAM, 4 GB free storage, at least 1280 × 720 pixels and an internet connection. Recheck the page before installation because versions and requirements can change.
You also need a free CREATIVATE Basic account. The manufacturer says existing mySewnet sign-in details continue to work.
2. Install CREATIVATE on Windows or Mac
- Open the official software page.
- Select Windows Desktop or Mac Desktop and use the download or store link shown there.
- Install the application following your operating system prompts.
- Launch CREATIVATE Embroidery. If your version also uses CREATIVATE Configure, open that utility as well.
- Sign in with the account holding your licence or membership.

3. Activate a dealer or boxed code
- Sign in to CREATIVATE.
- Open the official Activate Code page.
- Enter the complete code from the dealer purchase, box or digital delivery.
- Launch the software and sign in with that same account.
- Check that the perpetual licence or 12-month membership appears.
Make sure you are logged into the CREATIVATE Configure program and that your computer is activated.
4. Activate a second or replacement computer
The manufacturer allows CREATIVATE Embroidery on two registered computers. If the limit is reached, sign in online and remove the old computer under My Account → Machines → CREATIVATE-enabled devices. Then install and sign in on the new computer.
5. Solve common activation problems
- Invalid code: check characters, spaces and the account. A redeemed code does not need to be entered again.
- Features missing: verify that the website and software use the same account and that the computer is online.
- Third device blocked: remove an old device first.
- Installation differs: follow the current manufacturer page; store and direct-download routes may vary.
- Still stuck: note the operating system, software version and exact error, but never publish your licence code.
