Do you use Creativate (formerly mySewnet) regularly? Renewing your subscription is quick and easy – and through us as a certified specialist retailer, it's even significantly cheaper than buying directly from the manufacturer. Here's how to cleverly extend your Creativate subscription.

1. What is the Creativate subscription?

The Creativate subscription is a cloud-based license for embroidery software from VSM (Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Singer). Depending on your plan (Essential, Extra, or Elite), you get access to design tools, cloud storage, automatic embroidery patterns, and mobile apps. The subscription is monthly or annually and renews automatically.

2. Differences: Extension direct vs. specialist dealer

Provider Price Advantages
Directly via creativate.com List price Immediately activatable, easy to manage
About makema.de Significantly cheaper Official license code, no subscription required, one-time payment, support from the dealer

Important: You will receive the exact same access via makema.de and can continue to use your existing account.

3. Extend your Creativate subscription via makema.de

This is how the extension works with us:

  1. Visit makema.de and choose your Creativate subscription (e.g. Elite – 12 months)
  2. Complete your purchase – you will receive the activation code by email shortly
  3. Sign up at creativate.com.
  4. Enter the new code under “Activate”
  5. Your subscription will be renewed seamlessly

The new term begins immediately after the previous subscription (if the account is the same).

4. Procedure after the extension

After entering the new code:

  • Your subscription will be automatically renewed for the selected period
  • Your previous projects, cloud files and settings will remain intact
  • There are no double costs , even if you still had a remaining term – the new term is simply added

5. Frequently asked questions about subscription renewals

Can I extend my Creativate subscription with a code even if I have a subscription with the manufacturer?
Yes, when you enter the code, your subscription will be paused and replaced with the new term. The remaining term will remain valid.

Do I have to cancel my existing subscription?
If you currently pay monthly directly through the manufacturer, we recommend canceling your subscription there to avoid automatic debits.

Does the new code also apply to Mac?
Yes, Creativate is cross-platform. You can use the code on Windows or macOS—on up to two devices simultaneously.

What happens after the extended term expires?
You can renew at makema.de or through the manufacturer. There is no automatic debit for the retailer option.
